It was back to horsepower of a more subdued nature for me on Sunday afternoon at Randalwood Mountain Trails just out of Bairnsdale in glorious East Gippsland. After the last couple of events I have shot at have been on Media at one of my favourite venues Winton Motor Raceway it was very pleasant to get back to the magnificent equine facility that is Randalwood, superbly run by the very hospitable Kath & Wayne.

I describe Randalwood Mountain Trails as a fun theme park for horses & handler/rider and that is franked by smiles and happy faces I see in abundance every time I have the pleasure of pointing the lens there. If you & your horse haven't been there yet make a booking and get along you will have a great old time. If you have been along & I was there pointing the lens then there is a gallery here on www.photosbydaysy.net titled Randalwood Mountain Trails with your photo in it, check it out at your convenience.

  • Went for a bit of a stroll today after the weekly regime of mowing lawns . Took the camera along for a bit of random lens therapy and did what they refer to as Woodland Photography.
Not the most spectacular genre of photography but a genre I find one of the most challenging along with a lot of other Togy's in regard to finding an interesting composition to shoot.
It's usually more successful shot in misty or foggy conditions and images can come up really nice when shot in such conditions.
Here are two of the shots I took handheld on my little walk minus any mist or fog of course .
Which shot/shots do you like most if you like any
    Cheers
