Well I had a ripper couple of hours today at the official media launch for the up coming The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally this year hosted out of the West Sale Airport. One of the six legs of the ARC - Australian Rally Championship season, it is regional Victoria's premier motorsport event. Imagine once again having this fantastic event in the heart of Gippsland, creating economic stimulus, destination marketing & community involvement massive kudos to the Wellington Shire & the Australian Rally Championship .This year for the first time there will be a Super Special Stage adjacent to the Gippsland Truck Centre Service Park at the West Sale Airport allowing the fans a close up experience to the full on action in a compact arena whilst adding a festival type atmosphere. Last year saw fantastic crowd numbers at spectator stages over the weekend prompting one veteran media colleague of mine to state "The best crowd's I have seen at a Rally for years" I can only see it being even bigger and better this year.
